The brief was to design a gothic hallway, lined with prison cells that fall into shadow, whilst communicating dread and fear.
The proposed design includes narrow proportions to exaggerate the verticality of the space that leans into the gothic characteristics.

The bricked gothic arches tell the story of the space being repurposed to become a prison. Old doorways and windows now closed off give feelings of confinement and no escape.
